i'm not from london. where i'm from my gp would perform thorough exams annually (cervical smear, and all available tests for STDs). here, i've been passed around to different places/people for different things (nurse for cervical swab, clinic for two STD tests, back to GP for something else)...

How do you get reasonable care in the NHS????

Walk around underwearless in chaps and ask people what they think and put it in their face. One of those people are bound to be a gynecologist.

Your local g.p. will give you a referral.
