People who "see" these things are hallucinating. I get "visions" of many things but I have a very active imagination and a good sense of empathy so I can easily feel other's pain and worry...however, there is nothing supernatural about it at all.

I can imagine and I can feel and I can "see" but to go into that "world" is insanity. I try to keep my feet planted on the ground and quit trying to escape the present time by going of into some imaginary world. I've found I have much more real, tangible success in life when I stay focused on the here and now.

I daydream on occasions but come back to present time, fully aware of reality and not getting etheral thinking mixed up with facts. In my opinion, anything besides scientific facts are imagination and superstition and are not the solutions for people but the problems.

My advice, whether you think it is good advice or not, is to STOP it and live life NOW! No avoiding or using religion for your drug of choice! People who use religion as drugs, are easily tricked by other people who want to be your "Master". Be your own master and take responsibility for your own life. (Tough words for people who want to find a way of escape from their lives today.)

A myth is defined as a product of imagination. So one sees what he imagined be it heaven or hell without any restrictions.

Television is like a third eye as you can see distant happenings. Maybe, some day God will start beaming signals which our TV sets can decode and transmit and then we will be able to see heaven and hell!

The third eye is a distortion of the Eastern Orthodox Christian concept of "The Nous", the deepest part of ourselves through which we can become one with God.

IF you don't open yourself to the presence of God at the level of The Nous (what is called Noetic Prayer) than you will only see Hell, of your own choice. Pride in action.

However, if you are HUMBLE, and fully open yourself to the reality of The Light that has not been overcome in your heart of darkness (read John 1) then God will grant you a glimpse of the heavenly.

In the case of Saint John The Theologian, he was granted the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and from the viewpoint of Christ Himself he was granted to see BOTH heaven and hell.

Not through HIS mind, but through the Mind of Christ to which he fully submitted in humility.

The Apostle Saint Thomas was given a glimpse of the heavenly when he proclaimed "My Lord and My God!"

The Apostle Saint Peter was also given noetic revelation when he proclaimed "You are The Christ, The Son of The Living God".

In the west, this is simply called being "born again", which is anything but simple.

May God grant the intent of a pure heart...
