I will give you a list but please remember some bands that were heavy metal hard rock back then may be easy listenint to some of the bands now days.

You are speaking of the old "hair bands" (thus named because most of the members had long hair).

Winger, Poison, Whitesnake, Guns N Roses, Ratt, AC-DC, Motley Crue...

motley crue-poison-skid row-scorpions-dio-def leppard-slayer-metallica-anthrax-ac/dc-aerosmith-cinderella-faster pusssycat-great white-whitesnake-judas priest-iron maiden-kiss-ratt-tesla-van halen-wasp-lita ford-megadeth-l.a. guns
ok 90s....soundgarden-guns n roses-stone temple pilots-alice in chains-TooL-white zombie-ok im too tired to carry on now ...but these were off the top of my head im sure someone gave you some crazy internet list by now anyway ....enjoy :)

baton rouge - "walks like a woman" music is dazzling! europe (i enjoyed their music "superstitious'! in fact, that entire album it replaced into on replaced into great!) diving for pearls (music - "gimme your reliable lovin' " replaced into great!) d'molls - "all i desire" music replaced into kool! electric powered boys - incredibly enjoyed their "all lips & hips" music tnt; quicker feline; grotesque youngster joe; possibility possibility; alias; severe (notably a lot-widely used); extensive; mr. enormous; damn yankees; kix; babylon a.d.; lynch mob (properly-widely used); nelson; nitro; bang tango; notably boy floyd; roxx gang; bulletboys; black n blue; bonham; steelheart; britny fox; tora tora; ineffective; trixter; jackyl; saigon kick; xyz; steve vai (guitar virtuoso-dunno if he'd slot in with what u desire; ok-widely used); vinnie vincent invasion; stryper (notably a lot-widely used); residing shade; king's x (dunno in the event that they slot in w/what u desire). those are the only ones i will think of of suitable off hand. wish u get lotsa great solutions! i, too, enjoyed (& nevertheless pay attention to!) 80s hair bands! :-)
