There is so much crime in the world now, so much one-on-one violence within humankind. What can we do to begin to have greater respect for ourselves and human lives so that we are not killing one another, so that we are not so violent and so cruel to one another?

Much of the problems we face now and make no mistake, more will come is the globalization of races. It is globalization and the melting pot approach western governments have not only allowed but encouraged over the last 30 years. Our species (humans) is really no diff. than other mammals. The more our races mingle with breeding and association will be our downfall eventually. Racism is more prevalent now than ever before. Only diff. now is the protection of our legal systems in the workplace, which gives these new arrival's a false sense of being accepted. I'm not a racist in the traditional sense, rather I wish people would remain in their native lands instead of flocking in mass to other countries looking for the dream of a better life. Why cant they stay put and make their homelands the promised better land with a little effort as we have! I won't go into the medial issues of globalization there's not space here to do that.

Sorry, but I don't think there will ever be a solution. There are thousands of people out there that have mental illness' and thousands more people that commit crime just for the fun of it. So many people are drugged up, they steal stuff just to pay for the drugs. Not to long ago we had a break-in at our camp and they stole a t.v., a BB-gun, a CD player, and a vacuum. The detective thought the most likely reason for the stuff being stolen is that it was for drug money, and I fully believe that.

There are so many people now days that leave God out of there lives and there trying to take God out of schools and everything.
You can't change everyone, but it dose make a difference if you can help to change just a few. I do feel this Country is going down hill and will continue to as long as people leave God out.

I don't do crimes or hurt anyone.
Perhaps the field of study should be why those that impose on other lives do so and how they can be stopped.
You can't change the human race, you can change a sub-culture.
Look at it that way.

That's exactly what is handicapping our troops.....we have a respect for life....a natural kindness. The enemy is not encumbered by such thoughts, they don't even value their own lives....they fight for a misguided cause. Do you think any other country would prosecute their troops for rapes or murders? Get real!

I believe kindness and respect starts at home. It almost needs to be learned. That's sad because I don't believe we are born with compassion for others.
