The First President of the United States was George Washington as he was elected after the founding of the US Constitution. The Last King of America for the same area was King George the third. During the interim several men held the power under the articles of confederation. There are several; Parts of "America" which is confusing as usually it is only the USA that is just called "America" all of North, Central and South America are Also considered America. So you wind up having many Kings and Presidents all said and done.
