I want to buy a 360. I've been told that the core won't play original xbox games. What do I need to buy with it?

You need to get the hard drive if you want to play XBX games on the 360. You also need the latest patch. If you connect to XBL directly, it will download the latest patch automatically. If you don't have internet access with your 360, you can download and burn the latest patch at

FYI: There's only about 200 XBX games that can be played on the 360. NOT ALL XBX games can be played on the 360, so if you plan on selling your XBX to get a 360 thinking that you can play XBX games on the 360, better think twice. If the game isn't on the list, then it's not playable.

If the XBX game isn't on that list, then it's not playable on the 360.
