When I was a kid, I was scared by ALL of them. Literally. I couldn’t even go in to the Halloween section in Wal-Mart because the monster masks scared me so bad. But the thing that scared me the most were vampires. Them and Freddy from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Interestingly enough, I believe living in abject terror like that scared all the fear outta me. Cause nowadays, nothing scares me. I’ll get surprised or shocked, like when a horror movie villain jumps on screen unexpectedly, but nothing has really left me scared.

A) Those creatures from the movie Signs. The way you could see their shados flick past the windows outside. Man, I had nightmares about that for months. Still do.

B) As a kid? The movie called the Thing - the original one - when they are all in the Quonset Hut in the frozen tundra or whatever. Man I was scared ******** thinking of what that monster would look like when it finally showed up.

C) I used to be a bit scared of the Penguin in Batman too.

Thanks for the good question.

Wow, I think Jason in Friday the 13th part II. I was only 13 and this was my first "slasher" movie. I can't say I had nightmares about him but I slep with the light on and had difficulty getting to sleep for about two weeks.

I don't like horror movies. My heart is weak. Increased palpitation gives me the most nightmares.
