INSPIRON 6400 DUAL CORE T2250 with 1.73 ghz
Radeon x1300

100 gb with 7200 rpms

The price being asked by Dell for this laptop with included upgrades is 1190 Canadian dollars before taxes. I have no real experience with regards to Dell, are the hard drives their using reliable, and is this a good buy?

Thank you

I have a dell inspiron I2200 intel pentium m processor 1.70GHz 593 MHz 504 MB of RAM and I love it... If you are going to be put alot of files on it you need something with more RAM tho. I have tons of files on mine and it doesn't even slow it down now..

My 6400 ran at 3 GHz with none concern utilising the inventory cooler and voltage. I left it at 2.66GHz. What motherboard and cooler do you have? Are you a hundred% valuable the cooler is totally put in? in case you have an relatively low-end motherboard, you probably won't have the skill to overclock. On my P4M800PRO-M, any overclocking in any respect became into hopeless (2.33GHz would not even load the OS!). On my MSI Neo3, the top same CPU and heatsink, fan, memory, and CPU overclocked without difficulty.
