Why would a woman deny sex to her husband as a method of gaining control over him?

Wow is it about control because if it is maybe you need to back your control off and she will also. If she is upset she's not gonna want to bonk ya. Maybe it might be about how she feels and not control. Also anybody who only has you for sex reasons isn't really in a relationship with you remember the for better or for worse part of the wedding.

Because all women are b*tches, myself included. We want to use one of the most prescious things a wife can give her husband, and use it as a bargining tool. If you do what I want, you get sex, if not, I'm going to withhold it from you till you do it MY way..humpf!

But what alot of us don't understand (and kudos for the ones who do!) Is that in marraige, WE have ALL the power. We send our men out into the world to make US money, keep a roof over our head, provide food, buy us pretty sparkly rocks and metals, and have sex with us whenever the h*ll we want. And all we gotta do in return, is give them sex, tell them how macho they are, cook a few decent meals, have a few kids (what do you think a uterus is for?) and be nice to him. Easiest way of making money that I know...

And yes, like a hungry, beaten dog (since dogs are loyal when treated properly, so are men...) they will bite through their leash to find an owner who won't deny them the basic pleasure of being married...(sex, for those who didn't get it..)

no... I guess to many people they think that if you don't have frequent sex with you partner then they will go else where.... My question is to you is sex really that important that if you don't get enough then you cheat? This really should be discussed between the partners to see what of who needs to change before the thought of adultery comes into play.

If he has half a brain he would. Why would a woman want to control someone when she has tremendous issues within that she struggles daily with. I can only surmise that a person like this is up to no good. They attempt to overwhelm the person in order to distract attention from themselves. I would not cheat, I would get away from this demented and manipulative woman. She is her own worst nightmare, a one person homewrecker that will wreck her own home.

there is a problem, some hurt that has not been resolved here, so she can't feel sexy or loving to him, has he emotionally shut her down, found fault with her? usually a woman will shut down sexually and it isn't always her fault. it is not really about control, its more about some hurt between them, maybe a promise he made her and he failed to keep, maybe they have problems in communicating, perhaps she just doesn't feel safe with him. it is wrong for him to give up on his marriage and look outside the marriage for the answers unless he is ready to end his marriage.

If he is any kind of decent husband, he will not stray. He needs to let her know that this behavior will not be tolerated. Love is not a one way street. He can also let her know - if he wants to get even - that he just assume masterbate than take time with her. (ouch)!
