I can usually remember the words, but I have a much greater gift for remembering exactly where I was when I first heard it. The same is true for audio books, only more so. I seem to have this utterly useless gift for remembering (when I replay a book I've already heard) of knowing where I was when I last heard every single sentence. Now if I could only parlay that ability into some form that will help me find where I put the remote control....

Absolutely. Songs from my young years are all the classics that you continue to hear. Does anyone not love the Johnny Mathis(sp) love songs? I still say he is the reason I had 2 Children!

yes, though sadly it hardly ever happens to me. One cd though always takes me back to this house of my grandma's in CA when i went to visit for 2 weeks 7 years ago... I know all the words and everything to it still. i love the feeling too!!

Absolutely, when that happens, I remember being a teenager and how it would feel great to be that carefree again.

Usually I link my life phases with songs..
Back Street Boys for high school phase..
Dido for college..
Josh Groban for graduation..
& It would probably still be Josh Groban for retirement ! :D
