Do you really think that ONLY soldiers in the the military should be willing to DIE for our freedoms and liberties?-I can't believe the cowards, the SHEEP! that have no business being a part of this country, to go along with the government, taking freedoms liberties and privacy, from us, using security as an a excuse! Cowards have no principals

So long as bush has the terrorist on the run, hopefully we won't see an invasion force land and attack our home land. If that were to happen, then we would see who the true patriots are.

I believe that the only true unpatriotic people in our country are the news media members. It is their loyalty to a party and not the nation or the people that hold them in treason.

After reading that the Libs are quickly hitting the negative button and the Reps are hitting the positive button. But let me explain.

We need true and honest leaders of our nation. It doesn't matter what party they come from as long as they have the moral courage to stand true to their beliefs. The reason that the country is divided in the manner that it is, can be pointed at one major cause, the bias of the media. Let me give just a few examples:
1) Clinton never served in the military and during VN was in Russia burning the US flag.
Bush served in the military but got out of regular duty with a special assignment. The news tried to hammer Bush on this and there are no marks on Clinton.

2) Liby is being dragged through the mud for perjury on outing a CIA agent who was not undercover to be ousted in the first place.
Burglers, admitted to stealing secrete documents and gets the pass. He will be able to get his security clearance back next year, and he never returned the documents that he stole. Who has been in the news for the last several years, Liby.

If the news media would hold both parties equally responsible for their actions, all of the phony politicians would be removed by the news and we would get the best person for the job.

i think every one is doing sth for their country, and every one is having a war one way or another for the security of their nation. if you think this way, the doctors have a war with illnesses, the teachers are the first fighters with illitracy in the community, the engineers are in a war with undevelopment, even a business man/woman is in a war with lak of stuffs, be it food stuff or other crafts, in the country, and all the rest...... if the whole country men go through military then who should take care of other stuffs in the country. now here every one is chosing what field interests them. that never means they are cowards to go on military forces and fight for their freedom. if you have no interest in a job, you are never successfull to make it. ask a military guy, he will better tell ya what really made him go through it, which is often always their interest to post.

I dont see many people who are willing to die for this country not in the military. Some arent in the military because they cant. Your whole "question" is whats wrong with this country.

Not only soldiers are Patriots. Teachers who educate the young, lawyers who defend your right to write such dribble and even the street sweepers that keep your streets clean......they all do it to better your country, that is a patriot. What makes a soldier even more special, is they are willing to make the the ultimate sacrifice their lives.

What about police, judges, social workers, security officers...etc. The sheep that you speak of may not want to carry a gun and kill everyone that does not believe in our government but they have a place in our country. If anyone pointed a gun at me and told me to bow to their beliefs. I would have rug burns on my knees. Because I doubt that I could ever kill another human being no matter what.

When a govt can propogate any philosophy and brand nonbelievers as unpatriotic.That govt is itself changeing our civil rights and liberties.My earnest hope is that all our serving military come home safely.However I don't think they should be fighting in Iraq.

I agree. It's happening just like George Orwell said it would. Just a little later than 1984. Most people are too dumb to see it however.
