No. that's not all about friendship. this is what i call friendship :
-Always there for each other.
-willing and ready to help
-hanging out and having fun
-being honest and frank with each other
-no gossiping or backbiting.
-correcting each other.
-respecting one another's feelings and opinions.
- no special interest.( i'm ur friend bc i want sth from u).
-rejoice 2gether
-morn 2gether
- no jealousy
I've learned to be that kind of friend and i enjoy it. it even helps to repute someone +vely. I've had such friends too and they mean so much to me. I encouage you to try it or to look for such. don't forget : a true friend will always care about you feelings, thoughts and emotions.
have a nice time.

Friendship is possible in 2 persons only with common need. No common need no friendship. Friends before marriage, bore after marriage due to fulfilment of need.

no friends are ment for more at least thats how i feel friends are always there no matter what well if your not 2000 miles away like i am to my bestfriend. We still talk and plan things to do when i get back but friends are people too they do have feelings just like you and you help them out like they helped you out through the pain and saddnes you had went through. My op is that no there not there just for fun.

it depends if you really care about a friend. There are friends to just hang out, and the real ones are those who can be trusted

No. Not just for fun only. Friends are like God whom you trust fully to help you. Friends should share your feelings and help you in all respect always.

It depends. Some of my friends would define it as such, and I define it as such because most of my friends do (or at least seem to from the way they treat me.)

Here are the categories I find useful for sorting friends. Categorizing isn't for everybody, but it helps me sort things out in my head.

"Friend: We both know and like each other.
I can talk to about impersonal things easily, but not about anything really personal. I try not to expect anything from them.

Good Friend: We both know and like each other enough to go out of the way for each other.
I can talk to these people about basically anything if I needed to. I do expect them to be there for me, and to not bully me. I do my best to help them out when they need it."

Maybe it'll help. :)

nope. friends are the extension of your family, the guardian angels in human forms, they are not only your companions in good times or in bad times but they are your soulmates too. even in silence nor in distance they are your other halves.
