How to practise flamenco with as little sound as possible?

I dance flamenco. How can I practice in my own home without driving my neigbours crazy? I have to practice my steps with the shoes, to practise without is not the same! Does anyone have ideas to make a floor sound-proof. Is that enough or do I also have to cover the walls?

wear slippers!!!!!

Try fitting a carpet? Or doing the dancing on a thick carpet.

If you have a porch or conservatory, try it there.

Just don't dance in the evening, late evening. The cut off would probably be about 8pm, 7pm if they have kids.
