He really must get it checked out, soon! You don't give his age nor if he has any other risk factors such as smoking.
He needs and ECG, blood tests, cholesterol levels and definitely a professional to recheck his blood pressure. With a poor family history he may even need a treadmill heart check.
Try and persuade him that he really must seek advice.

Thats a little high for a normal blood pressure. But the pain could be from trapped gas, indegestion. If he has any nausea, abnormal sweating, pain in arm, jaw, or neck, with that pain, or any dizziness you can just about gaurantee it' shis heart. You can get some Mylanta and take about 60cc-90cc and see if it helps. Your best bet is to go to the hospital (ER) and get an ECG this tells the activity of the heart and can help decipher if it's a heart attack or even heart related. You should go soon because this isn't something for you to wait around and see what happens, he could die in a matter of mins. I see it everyday. If he's over 40yrs and overwieght he is at risk.

Yes, get it checked out...155/104 is kind of high. If there is a problem with his heart, it can be detected and treated early before it gets worse. DO NOT ignore the signs. Heart problems don't automatically mean open heart surgery.....it could be a matter of inserting a stent to open up an artery. To get this checked out is not being wimpy, it's being smart...what you don't know can hurt you. An actual heart attack causes more severe damage than having it corrected before hand.

Call an ambulance, the blood pressure is a little on the high side but get it checked out, is your man sweating more than useal, does he have pins and needles on down his arms, does his chest feel as it is being crushed eg like having a tight belt around it.
It could be wind but only a hospital can check it out, he should be more afraid of not getting it checked out

you gotta have her blood checkup and heart graph taken too, to understand if that is for her high bp, or any problem she has gotten with her heart. no matter how does she refuse, you have to convince her, since it is the matter of her life, and she has to live for her kids at least. high bp is mostly for high cholestrol in the blood and tenssion. try have her mind relax too, if she is experiancing high bp, and have her go through a healthy diet, with low fat food, not animal fat at all, and low salt food, much better if she take viggies instade of any other faty or catbohydrate foods. once you have her checked up with the doc, you can get better consultation to take care of her.

BP IS too high.
Forget the trapped wind get him to a doctor A.S.A.P, it may not be a heart attack but if you wait it may be too late.
Dont want to be overly dramatic but....The way he's acting he could end up being scared to death.
