hi what were the jumpers created from and what cycle did you wash them on ? All of this stuff can effect how the textile reacts! Did you take advantage of fabrics softener? This helps to renounce wrinkles.i do not imagine the rain made them wrinkle! try interpreting the care label or hand wash and rinse interior the gadget and in simple terms provide a short spin. maximum machines have a woollen cycle ,i take advantage of this to bathe gadget cleanable jumpers, in the different case I hand wash, rinse, lay the jumper on a bathtub towel and gently roll up the towel to remove the further water, dry as favourite. reliable success.

My cousin run a cleaning and pressing shop, I had a new sport wool sport coat. The second time I wore it I got caught in one hell of a rain storm. Got home and put it on a hanger. When it was dry, the arms ware about 5 inch's too short and liked about 8 inches reaching around me. I took it to him. He had one of those big steam presses. He put it on the press, and either shot steam in it or sucked it out I don`t remember which. The end of a long story he made it too big and then had to shrink it some. It was kind of eerie he could make it shrink or grow right in front of me, and all he did was change the direction of the steam, or so it seemed.

No, you'll have to find a toddler and donate the jumper.

Why on earth should you expect someone else to wash your jumpers, just because they are female ? Learn to do laundry - it's not difficult. Here is my hint for washing delicate items - throw them in the shower. Next time you have a shower, using your favourite shower gel, stamp around on the garment as you wash yourself. As you rinse yourself, you will rinse the garment. The water will not be too hot (obviously) plus you will have saved water, detergent and time. When you're dry, wring the garment gently and allow it to drip dry in the shower.

Put it in the sink and soak it in cold water, Gently squeeze the water out as much as possible, On the kitchen table put a large towel, put the sweater on it, and with your hands start to stretch it, and shape it back . Take a small towel and put it around a hanger and hang the sweater on the rod in the bathroom. every so often squeeze out the water from the bottom of the sweater/

no, you cant reverse shrinking. The most you can hope for is to try and gently stretch it back out into shape and next time, wash by hand in cold water and lie flat to dry.

well you can try this way , soak your jumper in tepid water, whilst in the water stretch the jumper, keep doing this if you see it´s making a difference then carry on then remove from the water hang on a coat hanger and let drip dry keep stretching the jumper , then once the water stop´s dripping lay on a towel and stretch again give a good pull, then roll up in towel to take the rest of the water out ,then give another pull , if this is does´t work then sorry I know of no other way

No, you can't reverse what has been shrunk. Now you know that wool can't be washed, it has to be dry cleaned. Just chalk it up to a lesson learned.

you can make it larger but 90% chance is it wont be the same as it was..... Wash in cold water and lay it out flat. Gently pull the garment every direction and it will stretch back out... let it lay flat and dry. you can repete this as often as necessary. If you pull too hard you might break a string and thus cause ravelling. so be gentle
