When Peter Chris quit they got a new drummer, and his makeup was "The Fox". That was pretty gay.

Not long after they were "unmasked" to try and join the "cool" hairbands of the 80s.

But to be honest, the first guy got it right, they pretty much jumped the shark right out of the gate.

In my opinion, KISS jumped the shark from day one.
