Great question. Answers will be interesting!!
The best job I have ever had was working at my University in Melbourne at the Student Union Bookshop.
I already knew the Manager and was friends with the people that worked there (very small uni if you can imagine with only 2000 students or so) and worked at the cafeteria just across the hall. When the Manager asked if I would like to do some hours I said sure. I already knew what they did; unpack books, make displays, serve customers, help students, orders, emails, phone, tidying the common room. However I asked for a job description anyway just to be sure of the expectations.
The Manager replied to this request with "Oh you know, stack books, serve customers, PLAY POOL". I laughed, but she was serious and from then on had the best time fitting shifts in around uni classes playing pool (billiards) and chatting with everyone at uni.
Best job description ever!!

Furniture delivering, perhaps the pay was a sh**t, $5.50 per hour, I had to take mostly of the times side by side refrigerators to floors 3, 4 or 5 by the stairs because in Puerto Rico here's a stupidity that if a walk up isn't higher than 5 floors needs no elevator and it was weird receiving a tip, busting up my back. Bed room sets, with a limited time and people, that didn't pay the the mount of the same pretending to you the mounting of the same. Bad bosses that never thanked me the extra mile, bad drivers at the road, no a/c in the truck units, some of them without finger lifter, mostly of the time you were having your meal break after the 5th hour and they never paid me meal penalty, no medical insurance and all the necessary things to lift weight as steel toe boots and back belts were paid by me ans the store room facilities were a disaster, the toilet rooms were mostly of the time locked and the water founts were always broken, if this isn't the worst job ever I don't what can be worse.

Working as a checkout operator in a supemarket was pretty bad. It's possibly the most brainless job I have ever had. Running groceries over a laser all day to the point where you're hearing the beeps in your sleep is not my idea of a good time. I like to think that I am quite an intelligent being, and I can't stand doing anything that's too easy, and doesn't tax me mentally in any way.

wose job was over summer when i finished high school before i started uni picking hydroponic tomatoes for 3 months. I was getting paid $5 an hour, worked from 8am until 5pm, 10 minutes for morning and afternoon tea, 30min for lunch, picking and packing tomatoes all day. It was so hot in the sheds, me and my friend used to strip down to underwear basically just to get through the day. At the end of the day I would be green all over from touching the leaves all day. At knock off time, I'd drive 20 mins home, jump in the shower and get to my waitressing job by 6pm and work until 1.00am.
I worked my *** off that summer, but at the end I had enough money to buy my books and rent a house and move away from home.
Never, ever pick tomatoes!! I can't even eat them after that summer!

the worst was when I worked at big lots....at that time though it was called something else, I just don't remember the name cause it was a long time ago that I worked there...I was a teenager
mostly it was the worst cause I was new and didn't know where anything was so customers were always coming up to me and asking for things....I always tried to walk away real fast if I noticed one was gonna come way, before they had the chance to ask

Once, years ago, I got a job putting together bombs for blasting, etc. I went through the whole process of paperwork, etc. At the very end, they took my picture and I realized it was because they might need a record of what I looked like in case of an accident. I never showed up for work.

Corn, detassling; I had to ride my bike like 7 miles. And wake up at four am. Also when we got to the fields. We were out for hours. And my hands got really soar. And one time they didn't use pesticide. And I dont like to kill bugs. I got bit up so bad.Ahhhhhhhhhh. And when I got a ride to work it was by this old man who pees in a container and talks about killing himself while he's driving. Talk about creepy. He also listens to country music and tells perverted jokes, and is an obsessive christian. Again ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
