Talk to her. Ask her if she is unhappy and what is wrong. Actually listen, don't turn the tv on or be reading the paper or zone out. Lots of times if you just talk you can work things out. If she thinks you are boring have you ask her what would make things better?
You wont know if you dont ask.

I compeletly understand...I've been married 4yrs this summer and my husband and I are doing the same as you and your wife, in fact my husband had the same feeling you had and came right out and asked me about it last year just to be sure.....
if I were you, I'd try doing little things for her....if that is what impresses her most like me
you know...notice new things about her if she changes her hair or something like that and every once in a while surprise her with a flower or a card when you come home
like my husband usually forgets things like christmas, valentines and my birthday gifts but this last v-day I was so touched because I was sure he'd forgotten again and he surprised me with a box of chocolates...even though they weren't my favorite type of chocolates it still meant so much to me because he actually remembered me

This answer may sound childish but this works for my husband and i. We have been married for 8 years and we started to feel like we were drifting apart so my husband came up with the idea of us completing a survey that he had typed up on the computer asking questions about our relationship, what we liked and disliked about each other etc..... After us both completing our surveys (individually) we sit down and discuss our answers. I typed up the next survey and asked questions that i wanted answers to about our relationship(again we sat down and talked about our answers) We do this about every 6 months or when one of us feels something is not right. It helps with the communication between us(men are not very open) so this works for us and we have a great relationship. This is not to say we don't communicate with each other, but our surveys are very open and indepth questions. This may not work for you but hey what have you got to lose.
Good luck

"Boring" is a good thing, if she thinks you're boring then definitely take it as a compliment. Boring people can be trusted, they're more grounded and mature. She must know she has a good one in you because she always tells you that she loves you, so relax...
