They have eardrums but no only a small opening so although they can hear their hearing is not great.

nope they have no ears, they feel the vibrations from the sound waves, on the subject, snake charming actually hworks because, the snake feels threatened by the pipe and the vibrations coming from it so they adopt an attack posture.

They have holes on top of thier heads and their hearing isnt great. They use thier sense of smell and touch mostly.
