Like in the United States, why is the dollar being produced? I understand producing newer currency every dozen years or so, because the older currency is torn and nearly destroyed. But why does the government continue to make more, yearly?

I think that's because the number of transactions increases annually. More transactions require more money for people to work with. Remember, money is a tool. When more houses are built in an area, more hammers are needed ;) It's the same thing.

Because hard currency is... real. Bank cards and the like are convenient and nice but they're still attached to computers. Computers make errors caused by glitches. Sometimes bad errors.

Nothing beats hard currency because its something you can touch. You know exactly how much you have at all times because its in your hand or in your wallet.

As wonderful as computers are, they still have major problems that make them a bit untrustworthy.

they want to implant sensor so they know what we are keeping and what we are spending on. The government wants to know every detail in our lives. Another reason for creditcard use being pushed.
As stated in the Bible there will no longer be a use for money. Credit cards will take over.
