The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. This means you can have 'em and hold 'em anywhere within the United States of America. Unfortunately most Americans are so pathetically complacent that they're giving up their rights to the owners of the Federal Reserve in order to become economic slaves. http://www.freedomtofascism.com
I carry a business card with me at all times along with my weapon(s) of choice. If anyone were to try to infringe my rights I would first hand them a card and let them read it. I've even had police officers who have ended up saying thankyou because they didn't know they could lose their peace officer's license and their personal assets to me simply by infringing my constitutional rights. The same applies to anyone who attempts to violate my rights.

...The 2nd amendment to the US Constitution clearly has your answer. (Our laws from that amendment may be what your are jousting with)... why do you want a gun...? can you paint a house with it....? deliver a new-born child with it....? can it give you a better "fuzzie" then a hot-babe on the end of your...... ?
Go to a Gun Show... bring a big "wad" of money and buy something "exciting"....like a MAC-10 you'll have "fun" with that.

if u were denied then they should have told u why. if not, go back and find out why. theres only a few reasons why you should be denied! u would know why if u fall into these catagories.
