I would have to say yes, maybe there would not be so much crime. =)

Not only should they, but they should also bring back "next day justice!" You know what I mean? Where if someone kills someone and is caught (no matter how long it takes to catch them) Hang them the next day at dawn! If we brought back "Instant justice" I think the crime in America would lessen. I also think that if we had the parents of victims punish the person who victimized our children, there would be a lot less people victimizing our children!

I never thought about that but now that I have.....I'd say I am for it. I think humiliation and discipline in public could set a better example.

I think all ( fathers in particular ) would love to see the men that rape young girls, put on some public display of punishment. I don't know how long they would last.

It would be an improvement over the cushy life they get in prison.
Let them suffer some humiliation as well.

Those are the same times that slavery existed in this country and women weren't allowed to vote. In other words, their ideas sucked.
