The first, oh, 15 minutes or so, I was happily going along.

It was steadily downhill thereafter.

Robots to love you? And ditched in the forest? Robot suicide? Aliens? And cloning Mommy? WTF?

It was a cool initial premise that became hopelessly muddled. You can see why Kubrick was intrigued but never made it and it makes you wonder by Spielberg wasted his time...

It is very scary that this very thing could happen in the very near future. I don't think it will but, the way technology is advancing, a lot of things in the movie could actually happen.

As far as entertainment, I thought it was a decent movie. Very good special effects. When it came out, Haley Joel Osmant was in every other movie and TV show on the planet, he was kind of old!

I liked it a lot. By the middle of it I was despising the humans. It was at this point I knew it was a good movie as it was making me see through the director's eyes.

Reminded me of the androids' point of view in Blade Runner. Machines might well be the next rung on the evolutionary ladder.

It made me cry.

I happened to have it playing when my daughter and her family stopped by to visit. My grandson, who was 6 at the time, started watching it. I wasn't paying attention as we were talking - the scene was on where the mom was abandoning him out in the country. I looked over and saw tears running down my grandson's face. That about broke my heart. I haven't watched the movie since.

I liked it. I think I liked it because I like Jude Law though. I love him in that Zoot Suit.

I loved that movie. It was thought provoking and left me very sad. Yet I loved it for I had never really seen anything like it.
