You will probably end up going to court. If she wants to keep it and it is in both of your names then she will have to buy out your half.

Well, if you have proof that the mortgage has been coming out of your pocket, maybe you should just take her to court (or threaten to do so and see if that works) but like everyone else here has already said - it will probably still go half and half. Good luck.

If the house in in joint names then your girl friend owns half the property regardless of who paid the mortgage. You cannot sell the property without your girl friends approval and signature.

You can get advice from the Citizen advice Bureau. They will be able to help you on that one. As you have been living together for so long she is now known as your common law wife - sorry to say. I do feel for you on this one. Good luck

Just pay your half straight to the mortgage company and explain the situation to them.

WELL IF YOU SAY THIS IS YOUR HOUSE AND THE HOUSE IS IN YOUR NAME THEN YOU SHOULD STILL GO ON AND FIND A REALTOR TO HELP YOU SELL THE HOUSE AND ONCE THE HOUSE IS BEING SOLD , YOU DO THE MOVING OF ALL YOUR STUFF AND LET HER MAKE A FOOL OUT OF HERSELF BY STAYING THERE WHILE OTHER COME TO LIVE IN IT.GOOD LUCK

Take your medicine. Your girlfriend has share in house in my opinion if her name is on title deed. I hope she was worth it.
