i had the same problem as you when i was younger and was scared to use anything bigger and was forever running to the loo's with my bag over my backside.i tried the next size and it didn't hurt. all, you have to do is relax your muscles and not think about what you are doing, that will make you tense up.. take a few deep breaths and insert it slowly. remember, a baby can come out of there so a tampon will have no worries.. good luck darl.

It's possible that you aren't changing the tampon often enough. It is recommended to try to change it every 4 hours. I always tried to do it every 3 in the time I wore tampons. I had to stop wearing tampons due to medical issues unrelated to the tampon itself.

Pls check with your dr as well for additional suggestions.

You are probably not inserting it properly. When a tampon is inserted the right way you shouldnt feel it at all. You could also try a different branded tampon

a bigger size wouldn't hurt but if you don't want to use a bigger size change more often or you could use a thin pad as well just to be on the safe side hope i've helped
