is it wrong to love(the butterflies on the stomach one) someone from your own family?

It depends on how close of cousins your are. The description of "butterflies on the stomach" makes me think that it may be more of a crush or attraction, and that you are probably young (not that there's anything wrong with that!). There's a big difference between that and being in love with someone and wanting to act on your feelings. If I were you, I'd only even consider thinking about this if you were head over heals in love and the feelings were mutual. It makes for a very sticky and turbulant road ahead of you.
You original question though, "is it wrong?" In a nutshell, no, because you can't help who you're attracted to.
FYI, in many cultures it is common practice for cousins to marry each other, in an effort to keep the blood lines more "pure." Cajuns for example used to practice this (perhaps still do). In the US, you are allowed to marry your cousin, as long as they are not your first cousin.

Well, it is possible to love your cousin. Japenese people marry there cousins, or so I hear...or did at some point, which led to them having big eyes and such. But well.....it's not morally wrong, as cousins married each other in the "Pride and Prejudice" era, or if you're not acknowledged of this book, cousins married each other during the 18th century in England. They were very religious people, so, that eliminates the concept that loving a cousin is immoral. But, when I was studying biology, they said that it is unhealthy to marry one's cousin. It hightens the chance of ......a disease or something

Depends on your value system.
If you are Christian, there are many instances in the Bible where "kinsmen" were wed to each other (meaning cousins).
Some states have laws that don't allow first cousins to wed, and in our culture these days (in America) this is generally considered incest.
You probably need to develop a world view on this subject, for this is a common practice still in many regions of the world.
Scientists tell us that the closer we are related to someone, the more likely our children will have birth defects. It's really hard to argue with that evidence.
I would say to treat it like any other attraction, and make sure you take it nice and slow.
It's probably MORE important in your case to avoid sex for as long as possible. One thing to be unwed and pregnant...a whole different thing to be unwed and pregnant by your cousin (this is how major family splits develop).
Finally, it IS your life (and his) but try and have respect for your families. Don't just splash this in their faces like a bucket of cold water. Respect their values when deciding how to proceed.

I agree with Nick G. You're probably just going through a phase and it will soon pass. Don't worry. It happens to the best of us. But don't take it further than the butterflies coz that has serious implications. Good luck ; )

that depends on what degree of cousins the two lovers are....
and that also depends on what country they are in...
for instance, in japan, 1st degree cousin marriages are allowed
(not quite sure, but this is what my friends told me)
but in the philippines, cousin to cousin marriages are allowable only for 3rd degree cousins and beyond
and there was a point in the course of human history where cousin to cousin marriages was normal.... but that was a long time ago and society changed since then

sure if you're prepared to be shunned by your family and run out of town with your cousin/husband with your secondcousin/mongloid kids in tow. If you're sure about this loving your cousin thing than i guess nothing will stop you, but I personally think it's disgusting. did you not notice the SIN in couSIN

yes! love between cousin are okay,but having a relationship like you want him to be your husband it not okay.. they've said that specially our mothers, are grandmothers..if you read the novel price winning book of Gabriel garcia marquez..its a cursed to have a relationship between cousin..there's a culture that from first to third degree cousins are not allowed to have relationship..if its only love, love as a brotherly love, no problem about..

who cares what anybody thinks about loving your cousin. do what makes u happy. cousins got married in the early bible times. so people doing it then makes it wrong for people doing it in this time. **** the stupid social taboo. it wassnt a social taboo in early bible times bc they didnt have all the stupid media and critics they have nowadays. its it ok for people to be gay? it says in the bible streight forward that people shouldnt be gay it doesnt say anything specifically in any relegion scripture that it is wrong in a religion prospect. i hope i made u feel better.

It happens. First cousins, you probably ought to give it a miss. Second cousins, in most jurisdictions is probably alright.
