Someone told me that Pyramid experts were sending a drilling robot to drill though granite in to ante-chambers. One finally drilled a hole after a year of work only to find another thick slab of hard rock ahead. If so why don't they just put lil shaped explosive and find what the goodies in the secret areas ?

Must be interesting stuff if the old Egyptians taken so much precautions to stop ppl getting in.

Yes dear it is true that some pyramids have big secret locked areas inside them.
It is true that the pyramid experts team has sent a drilling robot for entering into it.
But we can't say exactly that there is some mystery in every pyramid.
But ofcourse we can say that the pyramids are really one of the wonderful constructions in the world and we should really get shocked at the construction techniques the egyptians followed at that time. And we can be sure to some extent that there are really some monuments inside the pyramids even now.

And dear coming to your idea of placing some small explosives and blasting is not a good idea because as these are one of the wonderful constructions these should not be destroyed by such artificial means for the process of exploring the inner contents.

from an engineering perspective the pyramids are amazing!
They are built to a higher standard than any modern day building, included in that are some pretty awesome bits of design that really shouldn't be possible. It is true about the robot, there has never been any evidence of anyone being buried in a pyramid and shaped charges is a big no no on a World heritage site lol

I tell my parents a lot that happens in my life. Only reason is because if I don't tell them something that happened at school I don't want them to know, my sister ends up telling them, and I get in trouble. I don't tell HER, she just finds out on her own. It gets me really mad. >=( What I try to keep from everyone at school: Me and my best guy friend are going out now. =P

There may not necessarily be any 'treasure' in there.
They could be just voids, there to confuse grave robbers.
They are not going to be allowed to use explosives.
