The question is a very good one and probably deserves more thought. Off-hand, I'd like to go back to the waning days of the Roman Empire and prevent Constantine from declaring Christianity to be the sole and official religion of Rome. I wonder what the world would be like now?

trying to alter major world historical events you would be more likely to cause problems than solve them.

So.. I would simply change my decision about which college to attend when I graduated HS, completely altering MY life, but most likely having little effect on the greater time continuum.

If you believe He was the Savior... then you should realize that would mean his sacrifice was voluntary, planned and NECESSARY.

That would be an example of a major error.

In fact, one of the Apostles DID try to protect him, cutting off a Roman soldier's ear... and Jesus rebuked the appostle, healed the soldier and went quietly to fullful His purpose.

I would love to be able to travel back to May 1998 and warn my parents and other indonesian locals of buying dollars before the Rupiah began to sky rocket to 12,000Rp... the rich lost a few thousand dollars but the local people really felt it.
