It is for me, but maybe not others.

Obviously we don't tolerate everything.
But generally, when it comes to different religious beliefs, ways of life, appearance, stuff like that. That's what I am talking about. I really don't understand how people tolerate war. War is almost never acceptable.

My nephew's pre-school class was going on a field trip and I volunteered to chaperon in my brother's place. When I was introduced to the class I got a bunch of hugs and kisses. The "brown" skin kids did not mind I was white. These kids were totally accepting of me.

I wish I was that innocent. I wish I had their hearts and their ability to tolerate almost anything. I think the world would be a better place if we could keep our childhood hearts. If we could accept each other without question.

I learned alot in that class. About myself and my own tolerances. My life has become so much better when I learned to become more tolerant. i have more friends and less worries!

You may not believe this answer is coming from a Republican.

I do not care what your religion is. Just do not try to convert me.
I do not care what your sexual desires are. Just do not try to shove it down my throat.
I do not care what you do. Just leave me and my family alone.
About war. It is horrible. BUT at times it is necessary. If a country does not follow international law and threatens another country or region, at times it is necessary. When you tell the U.N. to blow it out your ear. the U.N. has the choice to do just that or blow the hell out of those who refuse to listen to the other countries.

You cry war is not the way but if your neighbor has a party and blasts their music at two in the morning and you have to get up on two hours to go to work. Are you going to tell them to shut it down or call the police? If you sit in your house and cry, you are not being responsible. When you get hit by a car that blew a red light and take "I am sorry" and walk home, and forget the incident. Maybe I will listen to your reasons for not stopping the Islamic fundamentalists. UNTIL then, I will not.

We have a way of life, leave me alone, and I will leave you alone.
Screw with me or my family, I will not sit down until you are put in your place.

There is a difference between Tolerance and cowering under the bed.

Tolerance by its very nature is to endure something which you don't agree with or enjoy. Seeing as its now used to promote counterproductive societal actions, I strongly dislike it. The only thing modern tolerance has taught me since I was so kindly introduced was a growing dislike of certain ethnic groups and homosexuals. As bad as that is, I cannot help but feel that way by my constant exposure to lifestyles and cultures that I find backwards, disgusting, and immoral. Forced tolerance taught me how to despise and hate and for that I strongly hope it is destroyed.

I think its the best thing ever, the key to peace. and it would spell the end of religion. i hope one day humans evolve enough to teach tolerance and end greed and the current state of "civilization" and then they won't need law.
