It's a brave step to go to another country and try to obtain work. I wish you luck. Whatever you decide to do if you come as a tourist or apply for a visa you need to have a good idea of job prospects in your chosen fields.
Below is a list of English newspapers, look in the jobs sections and also the accommodation which will give you a guide of what prices you would likely to be paying for a rental or shared apartment.

This newspaper covers the Costa Del Sol, which may be another option for you

Also if you go to http://www.download.com
In the search box type in languages and then filter for free you will find lots of programs that will help you with your Spanish before you get here

Save some money and then...
Go on a visa where you study and work at the same time. I think you can work for 20 hours a week maximum. You have to also be enrolled into a Spanish language school.
or maybe become a nanny
or marry someone from there.
Maybe study spanish in thailand and later in life you will find it easier to get there.

Nope, you can't just come and work here... legally. You CAN come as a tourist and get odd jobs, especially in the summer and in tourists areas (plenty of those) a lot of people do that. AND that way you'll learn the language!! But, remember you'll be an "illegal"...

If you do come, WELCOME, enjoy your stay and good luck!!
