Not very close. Minoxidil helps a percentage of patients but its effects are variable and wear off if you stop.
Some of us follicularly challenged chaps just accept it gracefully. I went for the full Monty and began shaving my head years ago and my partner and I are delighted with the effect.

There is no break through.Baldness is stated to be heriditary.It can be slowed dwn by massage of castor or almond oils on scalp.Few drops- daily massage on scalp( little warm oil for better reusult).
