I have asked several questions, mainly looking for opinions of someone I know and I get answers like see a therapist. Hello I don't have one and that does not help me with my question.

because 9 times out of 10 it is about the asker. On here you have to learn to ignore the people who are trying to put others down, they have no life and get kicks out of hurting others.

Human nature I guess...

HOWEVER, why do you spend so much time seeking out answers for the questions of others?

If you don't have the answer for them, help them find the answers on their own.

Remember when you were a kid and your teacher took you all to the library for the first time, and the librarian taught you how to research things and understand the Dewey Decimal System?

Your friends need to encouraged to learn how to find answers for themselves, and you might consider that it is unhealthy for you to assume the responsibility for solving the problems of others.

Well we assume it is something that been bothering you and that is the reason you asking us for opinion. That is the way it works. If you ask your friend :"What does it mean if you have bumps here and here?" She or he will assume that you have them and thats why you are asking. They make an assumption even if you go by with "by the what you think of people that..." or " My friend have this problem. She asked me to see if anyone knows what to do..." Its human nature. We are too quick to assume and to judge.

Because some people tend to be ashamed to ask for help for themselves or tell their business so they try to code it by saying the advice is for a friend.

lol, i guess it's because it's more common for the curious ones to ask for themselves than for other folks
