Do YOU want to? Having earrings may look good but can hurt a lot depending on whether you pierce your cartilage or your ear lobe. Your cartilage (the top bony part) may cause more infections and hurt a lot whereas the lobe won't hurt as much because there is more meat. Having pierced ears means cleaning the stud everyday for 3-4 months (for the lobe) or 6-8 months (for the cartilage). May I advise you to NOT change your earrings until 6-12 months, buy 12k gold or sterling silver, don't buy earrings too big, wear studs until 1 year and only buy cheap earrings after around 1 year. GOOD LUCK.

not sure if you're a guy or girl...if a guy-i personally don't like when guys have pierced ears. whether you're a guy or girl, what's most important is how you think you'll look. Buy some cheap fake stick-on earrings (kiddie dress-up section or at Claire's maybe) and see how you like the look first. Risks of it-infection and rejection. I have 5 piercings myself and my body tries to reject every single one. But most people are ok. There are plenty of websites that tell you about piercing care, though. Piercings are personal-make sure you're doing it for you.

What do you think? If you would like to have them done, then do it. If you would like to have pierced ears, then do it. Don't do it just because someone else says to, or suggests it, or wants you to. It is your body, your choice. Noone elses.

First of all it is important to you to find out how important she is to you. Then the consideration is if you are going to fall in any sort of trouble for his. Just answer these two and you are ready to go for what ever you decide.
Lastly it is your body and you can do what ever you want to do with it. As long as you are happy.

well you can wear cute little earrings. but beware of ear infection, you should get sterling silver to avoid that.
