A healthy sex drive is very normal for young people. Only you can decide if it is unhealthy. Desire is not addiction but if your sexual behavior is causing you to engage in risky or negative actions then you should be concerned. Like any addiction the substance of abuse is merely the outwardly manifestation or the symptom of a void we have inside. Sex can easily become an addiction because it feels so good at the time but when its over there is that void so we look for our fix. Look within and ask yourself what it is you need or are missing that sex fills... Good luck sweetie

Well there is such thing as sex addict worse than drug addiction. This was the same case happen to the first husband of halle berry. He undergo rehab but its too difficult to avoid temptations in Hollywood or its just difficult to avoid sex.

In other words being a sex addict has nothing to do with sexual abused but rather abusing yourself to have sex now that is the problem.

Psychologist and some other therapist finding this hard to cure specially when temptations is in front of you.

This is completely anecdotal on my part but the testing sample was rather large; It is my experience that female sex addicts/ nyphomaniacs were all sexually abused.
When you think about it it makes sense. All abused people have really bad self image issues. So what happens is that they seek out sex to feel attractive and desireable but the abused person kicks in and they don't believe what their lovers are saying so they seek out more lovers to get re- assurance which they still refuse to believe and you have an addiction .
Me, I wasn't sexually abused I just used to have fist -fights with my father which he always won.

This is just an addiction like all other addictions..It's not at all necessary that the girl or man who has it has been sexually abused..It's a psychological nature specialness..There are definitely some causes about it often aren't that obvious...Remember:as with all addictions sexual addiction can be dangerous..So whoever has it MUST seek professional help..

Of Course Not!!!... As a boy I know that all girls are deeply interested in sex. It is only that some express it more than other girls. When a girl starts maturing ( Physically & Mentally ), say about right from she's 11, a few feelings grow stronger than others, like the Sexual Urge.

If you are a beautiful girl, then you naturally will be more interested in sex rather than a girl who is not so confident.

In short only confident women are more interested in sex than those with inferiority complexes as they do not want to face a Man with inferior beauty & in the process their sexual urge dies as well.

It is ok, all you have to do is find a way to vent your emotions... All the best ☺

Sex releases hormones in your body that give you a calm feeling of well being .... it is very good for your health, and is terrific exercise which also makes you feel good. If it's with the right people and done with respect and love then it shouldn't feel like an addiction. Since your asking the question I guess you feel there is something out of control about it in your case.

It can become a real addiction in rare cases because of the aforementioned hormones you can become addicted to them like any drug, but the mental addiction to sex is far more common, it's often to fill the void of something you feel is lacking elsewhere.

I hope you are just using this question to get guys attention!

No interest in sex and easy arousal is perfectly normal and it is natures way. If you are talking about being addicted as in looking for sex in any way as often as possible causing high risk behaviour you had better see a doctor for help.
