Hey buddy.I think you're really missing out on the entertainment world.Let me explain to you why singers would want to go to America and pursue their careers there.Now let me ask you,what do these famous singers have in common-Mariah Carey,Britney Spears,Justin Timberlake,Christina Aguilera,Beyonce and Micheal Jackson....All of them come from AMERICA! All of them started their careers in America.America is a place to make it big.If you're dreaming of your future in a big way,America is a place to go.It's a country where dreams are fulfilled and fantasy becomes reality.I myself is a singer and i am trying my best to go to america and pursue my dreams as a famous sucessful singer.I hope i have provide you the information you need....

Because the US market means more money and less taxes.

The Beetles for example purposefully arranged thier "tours" to keep them on US soil long enough that they didn't have to pay British income taxes for a year or more.

Note where the Beetles ended up when the band broke up... Again, avoiding British confiscatory taxes.

America, means, many MILLIONS more PEOPLE, which equates to "LARGER AUDIENCES", - thus, to "GREATER EXPOSURE", (of their so-called 'TALENT'), and, - ultimately, - a GREAT DEAL MORE MONEY, in their BANK ACCOUNTS, - so, - you can't really, BLAME them, for TRYING! It WORKED for the likes of the BEATLES, didn't it? And, NOT ONE of THEM, - TALENTED SONGWRITERS, that two of them WERE, - could, actually, "CARRY" a TUNE, without the aid of a BUCKET!

most people want to make it in the showbiz for the money, no mater what they say.
