Sean Connery is by far the best. I have liked him even in his James Bond days. He just keeps getting better with age.

I would have to say Denzel Washington or Morgan Freeman, they both played in some really amazing roles. But I think that Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder, were fantastic together in there comedic roles, but had some really good ones apart too.
