A friend used to say 'One of concrete, Two of cement' when he was constipated. Everyone knew that this was his polite way of saying he was constipated.
Has anyone else heard this saying? Or another polite way of expressing it.

Or 'Do what a mathmatician does. Work it out with a pencil'. Bit too explicit for my sensibilities!

" I had to dig it out with a stick" was one of the funnier sayings I`ve heard. I don`t think "constipated" is impolite though!

I have never heard that one. I have heard people say they were "bound up," which meant constipated.
