Well, none of the politicians running are going to make many drastic changes. The problem with our system is the fact that people are always running for re-election. Only a second term President has any real power and then we saddle him with an opposing Congress.

But, to save our planet we would need a non-politician. One who is actually in it to be a civil servant. I would love to see the author, Daniel Quinn, become President. Read his book Ishmael and you will marvel in his ideas to save the planet.

But, since that would never happen, I would actually like to see Al Gore get back into it. He has found his environmental niche and it suits him well. He is one Democrat I could support.

Why bother to vote in the US? Are you nuts? It's the only time we get to voice our displeasure and we only get to do that every two years.

As far as those secret societies go. Do you really believe they have that much influence? Those secret societies only have so many votes when it comes to the ballot box. I'm more concerned with the people who have gotten caught with their hands in the cookie jar and still get re-elected.

which secret society is this? and if it is so secret how come you can find out about it? really the mane thing they all have in common is that they are rich. i think it is immpossible for someone to get elected if they are not wealthy. mainly because you need funding to get elected. plus people love money. and lastly i do not think that any one person especially one elected as the leader of ONE country is gonna be able to save the planet and for that matter the planet doesnt really need our saving. mother nature has been here long before us and she will be here long after we are gone. she has a way of figuring these things out. oh and george H.W bush ends his 8 years in office in 2008.

Well, apathy never solved anything, just makes things easier for the corrupt to control.
Do what you can, continuing to educate yourself and be pro active in making the truth known.
Also check out www..Grassfire.org, they may or may not be your cup of tea. There are all sorts of groups such as theirs (though I personally am drawn to their highly immediate & pro active stance),one group will be your fit.

Bush and Clinton aren't in cahoots together. Bush Sr. and Clinton work together for charity for publicity, everyone knows that. Hilary will never get my vote, she nor her comrades.

Obama is looking like a good choice if your for progress and freedom. If not you will vote for the same genetic clones that have been running things for years.

Ya go into the polling place and vote (D) on a straight ticket. There's not a (R) candidate that could possibly represent your own interests in any shape or form. It's gone from voting between the lesser of two evils to voting between heaven and hell. Know your issues--see what the candidates are offering, and vote your conscious.
