I think Bobby Cox as proven to be a winner year in and year out, no matter who the Braves lose or aquire. Jimmy Leyland is the othet guy at the top. He has won everywhere he has gone. Not only did he win a seeries w/ the Marlins, and go there w/ the Tigers, he actually won a lot of games with the Pirates, and they haven't been the same since he left! They stand out at the top for me.
Others who are right up there would be: Gardinhire, Sciosca, Whitey Herzog, Davey Johnson (he won everywhere too!), LaRussa, and Billy Martin.

Billy Martin will always be a favorite of mine (for he truly brought an added dimension to the game) but I will have to defer and go with Joe Torre. His normally quite demeaner and black scowls deep in thought from the dugout if things are not going right is an indication that he is planning his next move. He manages with his head not his emotions

Sparky Anderson has to be in the top 10. I would also add Bobby Cox, Whitey Herzog, Lou Pinellia, Jim Leyland, Tony LaRussa.

Walter Alston, He took over the Dodgers in Brooklyn and had success, retooled them with Koufax and Drysdale, and then retooled them again with Garvey, Cey and crew. I would also list Bobby Cox and give Torre a lot of credit for putting up with Steinbrenner. LaRussa, Sparky Anderson and Felipe Alou gets votes on my list also

the present idea is that being a human beings-individual is extra perfect, regardless of if absolutely, a human beings-individual is in simple terms someone who can not function on their own. the picture of fads, hair sorts, and bell bottom pants, the wanted personality will cycle decrease back to the position introvert is seen the surest trait. as well, they would not be complaining a lot in case you've been all abdomen crawling by an enemy bunker, would they?

Even though his talent hasn't been showcased in his last job with The Devil Rays, Lou Piniella.
I really wish that he didn't take that job with the Cubs.
I'd love to have him as the Yankees Manager when Torre gets the boot....

Lou and A-rod are close, so A-rod might benefit from that...
