Napster stopped offering free music downloads about 5 years ago after a major lawsuit filed by the record companies. the have (just recently) relaunched as a pay-per-download site similar to emusic or itunes

Napster free music service is only available in United States now. You can try www.seekasong.com or www.bearshare.com both are my favourite for music download. seekasong.com only for mp3 downloads and www.bearshare.com is good for mp3s and music videos. You have to download bearshare software first to download from that site. Trust me, bear share is much better than limewire for music downloads. Because bearshare only provide musics whereas limewire provide all sort of files. Both are p2p software. you can also try 'ares'.

I guessing that you haven't yet heard that Napster is an illegal downloading site! You're not in trouble "legally" but the site has been brought to court several times because of pretty much "killing" peoples computers! I recommend that you delete this software from your computer immediately and download limewire. Limwire is the safest and most recommended downloading site that I know of. you have to download the napster program I believe. But, if I were you, I would use limewire. Go to limewire.com and download the program.
