Oh man, I'm really interested about this kind of stuff. I don't think it's possible though. Robots need to be programmed to follow a certain set of rules in reaction to stimuli. Humans have the gift of being unpredictable. They are also able to use their ideas in a much more fluent and uncontrolled way. I think these will keep us from creating robots that can accurately represent human behavior.

There are a minimum of two ingredients interior the makeup of any creature that are required for intelligence to happen: Self-information and creativity. a feeling of self seems to happen hand-in-hand with a feeling of peril, loneliness and a cost device that, at an analogous time because it may desire to evolve (or devolve?), places the self notably else. The creature could desire to "evaluate" itself separate - that there is a few branch between itself and something of the universe. a minimum of interior the procedures that's maximum ordinarily defined, intelligence, by utilising definition, calls for self-decision which, in turn calls for the theory of self. as a fashion to flow authentically "off-software" their could desire to be an factor of genuine randomness; in result, an untested or earlier unconceived piece of "code" could desire to be spontaneously written. This in hassle-free terms happens while 2 or greater products of guidance are processed and chanced directly to have a relationship that, up until eventually that element, had no longer been detected or defined. Creativity calls for chaos. (keep in mind that "chaos" refers back to the "undiscovered united states of america" rather than an intrinsic loss of order.) Intelligence then maps the hot discoveries of the order interior the chaos and has an "concept." each function of your laptop is a preordained mathmatical crucial. specific, there are device defects. yet, so far as all of us know, it takes thousands and thousands of years of effectual device defects to generate finished blown imaginitive thinking. And, in case you attempt to place in writing a software for imaginitive thinking, you finally end up in an oxymoronic, paradoxical comments loop. So, what's going to provide a device those 2 needed ingredients? a million years of evolution perchance? the combination of organic and organic and inorganic layout? I doubt i will ever see it. i do no longer doubt that sooner or later something mildly resembling a device could have an unique concept. yet, then, might it nevertheless be a device?
