whose family is quite traditional?
again, i am not Chinese, so i guess i need some advice here, especially from people who's married to Chinese --- or Chinese people themselves. but i need all the advice i can get, so anyone can answer, please.

Everyone comes from different backgrounds, so in a marriage there is always going to be differences. I think if you guys really love each other and you are each open and honest with the differences between the two of you and your families then you will be OK. As for his family, be willing to learn about them and their culture. I think if you make a true effort they will respect you for it.

Be yourself as you are not Chinese and the family should accept you for you and not expect you to try and behave as they would.

if you are in love with him,,, there is nothing to say to you,,, just because he is Asian does not mean there are different rules to learn before marriage. congraulations i wish you both a lifetime of happiness
