Hello, my period started in between the 15 and 16 of this month it started off very light, Now today the 24th I'm going off my period, (its brown). I was wondering if any body knew when i was going to ovulate because I keep getting different times, and I'm very confused. I'm TTC and have been for a while. Can some one please help me out on what to do because them calculators don't work for me. They keep saying the I'm going to ovulate on the 26th which is too early ain't it?

Your period starts on the first day of blood. For most women you count 14 days from there to find the ovulation date - but then you have a range of 5 days before and 5 days after when you would also be vulnerable to pregnancy - more likely the closer to the 14th day (so day 13 and 15 would be the next most likely days).

So, 2/16 + 14 days = 3/2 +- 5 days to find the window 2/26 - 3/7, presumably the best days to conceive would be 2/28 - 3/4. I say presumably because that does assume that you have a steady 28 days cycle.

Peace!

your trying to hard, dont worry about it and befor you know it you'll be pregnant. god gives you a baby when HE is ready for you to have one. im not trying to be mean. my aunt had my cousin in 84' and after her they kept trying to have another the doctors told her she couldnt have any more babys and she still tried. 18 yrs later she gave up and adopted 2 children and then found out she was pregnant! just make love as much and all month long as you can you'll conceive. and if you still have problems, have you had your man do a sperm count? its half you and him
