I already answered this once, and didn't even get the ten points. However, AGAIN, birds can't burp or fart (it's just a biological flaw), and have no way to get rid of the gas from alka seltzer. Depending on the size of the bird and the amount of alka seltzer, you can blow up a bird.

So YES. It is True.

No.

Think about it. Gulls are not stupid enough to take a tablet. I have seen them make instantaneous decisions about taking a fish, or a piece of algae or a piece of shell or a cracker. They can figure it out.

Now, suppose you hid the piece in food. Any food that would interest a gull that a bit of alka seltzer could be hidden in would contain water. What does alka seltzer do in contact with water? Would any bird take a piece of foaming, chemically smelling food?

A twisted former friend of mine tried it when we were younger and nothing happened. So, either it is false or it would take more alka seltzer then the bird would be willing to eat.

Yes, if you give any bird alka seltzer it happens. Birds cant fart or burp so they cant process the baking soda element in alka seltzer. Dont try it.

it looks that way from shore, but is actually just explosive diarrhea. You need to also stick it in a microwave to make the bird itself explode.

Whoever tries this is a complete knob head.
No, they don't explode, they only die.
But I don't see why anyone would want to do it....
