"Come Together" by the Beatles is a great song in regards to world peace. It's hard to find a bigger advocate of world peace than John Lennon was in his day. As far as Burt Bacharach's song, "What the World Needs Now" is about just what the song says, "love" -- close to the same concept as "Come Together".
