Houses of the Holy is probably more notoriously known as Led Zeppelin's greatest album, but Physical Graffiti is with out a doubt their best contribution to the 70's.

I think most casual fans say that "IV" is the best. I personally think that it's a tie between "II" and "In Through the Out Door."

Most people would say Led Zep #3. (The one with Stairway to Heaven) I prefer their blues stuff. I also like In Through the Out Door. (The one with Kashmir?)
