the artists way is a book which helps people find their lost creativity. It is a programme to follow over a 12 week period. You can do it on your own following the rules in the book or you can join a group and do it together for support.

I've done the Artists' Way by myself. It's very helpful but the sequel, Walking in this World goes a bit further and the walking method really helped me. I live in Suffolk but I don't know of any group locally. Seek out groups that have a shared interest; I go to a poetry forum in Lowestoft. If you meet a few like-minded people you might be able to start an Artists' Way group yourself.

I did it in Canada. The most rewarding and inspirational months of my life. The group is great to start out with, I hope you find one in Essex or Suffolk, when it is over keep in touch with your precious moments, new friends, networking and keep your artist dates with yourself. Sorry I don't know where you can go, I found mine through a local newspaper, you might do a search on the internet, some of the guides providing the course have websites.
