There are two major hit versions, the original by Van Morrison and the cover by Rod Stewart. I don't remember which one was in the movie, but they can both be found via iTunes.

According to the movie site, it's not Van Morrison or Rod Stewart singing, but Matt Acheson. The song was written by and first performed by Van Morrison.
