You live in my house you live by my rules. As a teenager you don't understand the importance of a good education. When you grow up and have your own children you will understand. You have lots of life left after school to "learn" things.

Your parents are there to support you and teach you and give you love and alsoshow you right from wrong. Even sometimes when you don't agree. they have your best interest at heart. They want to see you get a good education follow your homework and keep up to date so you don't fall behind. and help out or have chores around the house. all this will help you when you go out into the world on your own when your old enough. and you will hopefully be a good member of society and not hanging out getting into trouble or wrong crowd. By the time you leave home your parents will have hoped they brought you up well and that you are member of society in a positive way. YOu should feel happy that your parents care and are concered for your well being and your growth to help you in later life this will be very important. You don't want to end up in jail or on the wrong side of the tracks. so though right now you may think of it as a pain. remember we all have been there and there grandparents as well. Feel sorry for the kids who are left alone with no disapline or rules and structure in there life. they will have a much rougher time in society.
I know there are times when your a teenager and you don't like to be told to do this or that and have so many restrictions.and you may not see how important this is . but your parents do they are older and they have lived longer and have seen the down side to not proper parenting. So i hope you cut them some slack. one day you'll be a mother or father yourself. and You will want to be proud of your children and not visiting them in jail .
