Maybe I am out of the loop... I know he played with the Giants last year. Does anyone know if he retired or signed w/ another team, or what? Just curious!

Last I heard there are still some clubs interested in the soon to be 42 year old. That being the case I am sure he will catch on somewhere when the first injuries start to occur in spring. Like the others, I have heard only the Cubs mentioned specifically, but I could see a return to some of his former teams like the Orioles, Astros, Pads, or Dbacks, they might still have a soft spot for the old man!

Steve Finley has not announced his retirement and will likely sign on with a team as oppose to retire.

He is currently unowned (a free agent).

The chicago cubs have told him that they could be interested in his services if they manage to trade Jacques Jones.

He is waiting on that for now, because he likes chicago they are offering him a job as a starter. If they don't another team is likely to give him a shot as a reserve player. I don't think his playing days are done just yet. I think he will definately sign somewhere.

P.S. i did hear on fox sports that the Florida Marlins need some help in center feild but are NOT interested in him, but i think there's a good chance he might sign with the Colorado Rockies which would be good for him because he will get playing time, and Coors Field is the best park for hitters in the majors due to the high altitude, and thin air...

UPDATE : HE JUST SIGNED A MINOR LEAGUE DEAL WITH THE ROCKIES!

He is a free agent. Last I heard he was looking at the cubs to see if he could get a job with decent playing time. You will probably hear about his retirement after spring training if he does not land a job.
